Who is Heather?
Heather (Lincoln) Allen's life was cut short, too short. She attended Midlakes High School before marrying high school sweetheart, Steve Allen. Later, they had a baby girl named Taylor.
While Heather was pregnant with Taylor, she was diagnosed with cancer. She never complained, maintaining a bright and cheerful outlook of an optimistic future.
Filled with compassion and interest in others, Heather made friends easily and maintained contact with many. She had the type of personality that just drew people to her. She was a real team leader whether it was cheerleading, basketball or softball.
She would still be involved with Midlakes Sports and at the school today if she were still alive. Hopefully she is looking down on this wonderful event we hold in her honor as we keep her spirit alive.
We all miss her every day. That is why we are here today to help celebrate and remember the life of Heather S. Allen.
